We are Financial Advisers and Brokers. This means that we give advice in a wide range of Financial Fields. If you need help with Life Assurance or Financial Protection, Pensions, Investments or Savings Plans, we will provide you with qualified options from the best providers in the market. It is common in Ireland for Insurance Companies to give us an Introduction fee for arranging your plan with them. This will pay our fees, which means that, in most cases, we will not be required to charge you a Fee. If you need more thorough Financial Planning, such as Budgeting or Debt Management, we will discuss our fees prior to engaging with you, but we would prefer to do a no-obligation assessment before this would happen.
There are multiple ways to get in touch with us. Go to the About Us page if you would like to choose an Adviser that you thing might be more suitable for you. You will find phone numbers or email addresses. Alternatively you can complete a form on this site and we will get in touch.
Both. When your requirement is simple, we can in most cases arrange your business online. During COVID, we found ways to improve this experience. While we find it important to get a good grasp of your financial circumstances before we can make a recommendation, this can sometimes be done via Zoom/Teams and email. Our long-term philosophy is to develop a lifelong relationship, guiding you through all financial hurdles in life, so we find regular face to face meetings help cement this relationship.
Absolutely. Our aim is to be your long-term Financial Adviser, taking calls from you anytime you have questions. We have supported our clients from early adulthood, through having kids to preparing for retirement to arranging their wills to set up the next generation. When we set up your Policy or Pension or Investment, we arrange to take our payment from the Insurance or Investment Company on a Long-Term basis – this means we are paid by them to look after your needs for the full term of the policy.
In relation to Life Insurance, Illness Cover and Pension advice, we are completely Independent. We can advise you on all options in the Irish Market and can help you choose the most appropriate solutions to your needs. When it comes to Investments, we work on a “Best Advice” basis, which means that we will only recommend options that suit your needs and circumstances. In order to be completely Independent for Investment Advice (according to Central Bank of Ireland), we would be obliged to charge you a fee for our services. We are more comfortable taking our fees from the Investment companies with whom we arrange the business, and we believe that our impartiality is not compromised by this.
Talk it through with us first. Due to our vast experience with our clients, and the reputation that we have earned in this time, we frequently have clients referred to us by Accountants and Solicitors. If we find a case that is more suited to one, we will let you know, and can often recommend a suitable adviser should you need it.
We take your trust extremely seriously. We will not disclose your information to any other person or organization, without your express consent. For example, we may have to disclose some of your health information to an Insurance Company in order to process an application for Life Insurance – therefore we would ask you to sign a consent for this. As part of our Central Bank Authorisation, we have undertaken to abide by Data Protection and GDPR rules, which is for your benefit.
Our staff are professional advisers, not salesman (or saleswomen). If you ask us for information in relation to our services, we believe it is because you are aware you need help on something. It is part of our philosophy to give you time to analyse any information we give you, but we will follow-up to see if you need any further help. Our time and services are valuable – we will provide a certain amount of help without looking for payment – but we will have an expectation that you will engage us to put your plans in place when you are ready. If you are looking for information for free and do not plan to take any action on your needs, then we are probably not the right people for you to contact.
Just the same as if we were dealing with a family. If we identify a need or service where we can get our fee paid by the Company we arrange the business with, this is our preference. If we are writing a Business Plan or arranging Trusts, we may charge a fee. Once we have enough information to see how much work will be involved, we will give you a quote before proceeding.
No one can surely predict the future. But we can protect it.
